Surgical length burs are 25mm long and are for use only in the L7210/L7310 iM3 LED Advantage High Speed Handpiece - Large. Ideal for sectioning teeth, removing bone, removing decay, and preparing teeth for crowns.
Friction grip (FG) burs are typically used in high-speed handpieces. iM3 recommends disposing of burs between each patient or if they become dull during long procedures, to reduce turbine wear on the high-speed handpiece. These burs are intended for single use, and the cost should be factored into each procedure.
