These short shank burs (16 mm) are preferred for use in the confines of the feline oral cavity.
Primarily used for removing alveolar bone, extracting root tips, and creating access holes.
Friction grip (FG) burs are typically used in high-speed handpieces. iM3 recommends disposing of burs between each patient or if they become dull during long procedures, to reduce turbine wear on the high-speed handpiece. These burs are intended for single use, and the cost should be factored into each procedure.
Also available in sizes ranging from ¼ to 10. Keep a variety on hand to accommodate patients of all sizes.
