Surgical length burs are 25mm long and are for use only in the L7210/L7310 iM3 LED Advantage High Speed Handpiece - Large.
Ideal for crown preparation, caries (cavity) preparation, removing and adjusting restorations, and endodontic access. Used to create undercuts and flatten walls. The shape means the cutting end is wider than the base.
Friction grip (FG) burs are typically used in high-speed handpieces. iM3 recommends disposing of burs between each patient or if they become dull during long procedures, to reduce turbine wear on the high-speed handpiece. These burs are intended for single use, and the cost should be factored into each procedure.
