Clarity XR Veterinary Dental X-Ray Software- AI Diagnostics

Unlike conventional veterinary X-Ray software that relies solely on static image libraries curated by radiographers, our system is trained using comprehensive 24‑month clinical case histories. Each case integrates physical examinations, probing data, and medical imaging, mirroring real-world diagnostic workflows. This multidimensional training approach enables Clarity to deliver context‑aware, clinically relevant assessments that go far beyond image‑only interpretation — offering diagnostic support that truly reflects the way veterinarians practice medicine.

Client-Connected Imaging

Upload images prior to consultation

Securely pair phones and tablets to individual patient records, allowing staff or pet owners to upload images directly into the clinical file. These images support clearer consultations, improve client understanding, and consistently increase dental treatment acceptance from ~10% to over 60%.

Universal Dental Imaging Compatibility

Multi Device Support

Connect virtually any CR or DR dental sensor or reader using a standard TWAIN driver. Use existing sensors alongside new iM3 imaging products in a single system—enabling larger-format sensors to reduce image count, radiation exposure, and capture time without replacing legacy hardware.

Veterinary-Specific Diagnostic Toolset

Marginal images to confident diagnosis

Advanced veterinary imaging tools enhance diagnostic detail even from suboptimal images. Clarity analysis detects changes at just a 2% contrast difference, while smart filters and pseudo-colour visualisation reveal bone loss and periodontal detail—reducing retakes and turning poor-quality images into diagnostic ones.

Clarity XR Dental Charting

Chart it. Image it. One Clarity record.

Digital dental charting, built into the software that already holds your radiographs.

Clarity XR Dental Charting replaces paper charts and separate charting tools. Fill in the chart during the oral exam, keep it with the patient's images and finish with one clear report. Your dental record is complete before the patient leaves recovery.

Clarity XR Dental Charting pathology chart on a monitor

  • Chart the way you examine. Tabs follow the oral exam, from extraoral to every tooth.
  • No separate charting tool. Charting opens inside Clarity XR, next to the patient's photos and radiographs.
  • Built for recall visits. Conditions from the previous chart are pre-selected for you to confirm.
  • Codes colleagues recognise. Findings and treatments use codes aligned with AVDC nomenclature, with custom entries for anything else.
  • Periodontal detail. Pocket depths at six sites, recession and enlargement in mm, plus gingivitis, plaque, calculus, furcation and mobility.
  • Dictate and approve. Speak your observations and Clarity transcribes them. Nothing becomes part of the record until you approve the transcript.
  • Charts for the species you treat. Canine and feline (adult and deciduous), rabbit, rodent, guinea pig, ferret, equine and sea lion.

Clarity XR Dental Charting is an add-on module for Clarity XR, switched on per clinic through your licence. Requires Clarity XR v1.0.29 or later. Ask for a demo

Veterinary use only. Clarity XR Dental Charting is a record-keeping tool; it does not diagnose or recommend treatment. The veterinarian remains responsible for every finding and treatment decision.

Clarity XR Networking

One secure archive, on every station.

Clarity XR Networking lets every licensed computer in the clinic work from the same patients and images, in the treatment room, the consultation room and at reception. One archive, ready wherever you work.

Clarity XR Networking on three clinic computers

  • The right images in every room. Admission photos, discharge letters and radiographs, wherever you need them.
  • Any patient, on any licensed computer. Search on one computer and Clarity downloads the patient and their images from the clinic archive.
  • Images arrive faster. Several images download at once to the computer you're using.
  • Works for groups. One clinic, or branch clinics in a regional or corporate group sharing one archive.
  • Secure by design. iM3 approves each computer before it joins the clinic's network, because it shares clinical records.

FAQ’s for Clarity XR Advanced Veterinary X-Ray Software

What is Clarity XR veterinary software?

A veterinary-designed dental imaging and decision-support platform that unifies image capture, diagnostics, communication, and education in one workflow. Client-connected imaging improves consultation clarity and increases dental acceptance from ~10% to 60%+. Universal CR/DR compatibility protects existing hardware while enabling safer, faster imaging. Veterinary-specific enhancement tools reduce retakes and support ALARA. Clarity highlights over 70 pathologies in under 0.5 seconds to accelerate diagnosis. Built-in specialist guidance and best-practice discharge communication aligned with AAHA and World Small Animal Veterinary Association standards are fully integrated with any practice management system or PACS via API.

Does Clarity XR work with existing dental sensors?

Clinics switch because the system fits into what they already use. It integrates with existing practice management systems and PACS via API, eliminating double entry and workflow disruption. Clinics keep their current hardware, reduce retakes, assemble clearer diagnostic layouts, and use Clarity to accelerate case review without replacing clinical judgement. The result is smoother workflows, stronger client understanding, higher dental acceptance, and better outcomes—using the same clinical time.

Can clinics integrate Clarity XR with practice management systems?

The platform integrates with any practice management system or PACS via API, allowing multi-site groups to standardise dental workflows without replacing core systems. Universal CR/DR compatibility protects legacy hardware investments, while Clarity-assisted imaging and WSAVA- and AAHA-aligned guidance improve consistency, safety, and conversion across sites. Centralised best-practice workflows deliver measurable uplift in quality and revenue without increasing consultation time or operational complexity.

Does Clarity XR include dental charting?

Yes. From version 1.0.29, Clarity XR Dental Charting adds a digital dental chart to the patient record, next to the patient's radiographs. It is an add-on module, switched on per clinic through your Clarity licence. Contact your iM3 representative for details.

Which nomenclature does it use?

Codes aligned with AVDC nomenclature. Clarity's own abbreviations are marked † on the report, and you can add custom findings and treatments.

Can I import charts from my old software?

No. Charting starts with new exams in Clarity. Existing radiographs stay linked to the patient record, and from the second chart on, permanent conditions from the previous chart (missing teeth, composite restorations, root canal therapy, pulp capping and crowns) are pre-selected for you to confirm.

Which species does it support?

Canine and feline (adult and deciduous), rabbit, rodent, guinea pig, ferret, equine and sea lion.

What does Clarity XR Networking do?

It lets every licensed computer in the clinic work from the same patients and images, in the treatment room, the consultation room and at reception.

How does a computer find a patient?

Search on any licensed computer and Clarity downloads the patient and their images from the clinic archive. Several images download at once.

Can branch clinics share one archive?

Yes. One clinic, or branch clinics in a regional or corporate group, can share one archive.

How is the archive kept secure?

iM3 approves each computer before it joins the clinic's network, because it shares clinical records.
